Funeral and Mission
This last week, on Wednesday we had another funeral service, for the father of Szabolcs Kelemen. Szabolcs is a graduate from our Seminary. His father lived 60 years, and died by a heart attack last Sunday. His mother died several years earlier, by suicide. For this funeral we invited István Lőrincz also, the reformed pastor where Szabolcs's father was member. His sermon was conforting the family (from Mat 11:28), which was very much welcomed. More than 200 people were present. I preached about the hope of resurrection, and Sándor J. Kelemen preached at the grave. Please, pray for Szabolcs, and his wife, Krisztina!
We had guests at Sangeorgiu de Padure on Thursday, and we visited the site of the new church, seeing how much work is still to be done. I visited Cinta too, where we need new grace from the Lord, to be able to continue the mission.
Friday and Saturday Pál and Anna was here, with the children. They just went on their way to the Camp, where they are planning to have a two-week vacation. Pál will preach tomorrow at Martinis. Next Sunday he may be here, though we will be at Zalau, celebrating 100 years of founding the church there. Tomorrow I will be home alone, while Sándor will be at Gheorgheni: he was nominated to take care of the interim-pastorate of the little church there. Gheorgheni is 120 km far.
Thank you for your prayers!
